The body is the foremost tool for manifesting our mind

Ayurveda is a powerful healing system that has been practiced for over 5,000 years. Its holistic approach addresses the body, mind, and spirit, promoting optimal health and well-being. Today, it is recognized globally as an authentic and natural method for enhancing vitality and longevity.

Pizhichil

This treatment involves the application of lukewarm herbal oils all over the body by two to four trained therapists, using a rhythmic technique for 60 to 90 minutes daily over 7 to 21 days. Pizhichil is particularly beneficial for rheumatic conditions such as arthritis, paralysis, hemiplegia, Parkinson’s disease, sexual weakness, and various nervous disorders.

Njavarakizhi

Njavarakizhi encourages sweating by applying specially prepared medical rice puddings in muslin bags to the body or specific areas. This treatment, administered by two to four therapists for 60 to 90 minutes daily over 14 days, is effective for all types of rheumatism, joint pain, muscle atrophy, high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, and certain skin ailments.

Dhara (Thyladhara)

In this process, herbal oils, medicated milk, or buttermilk are poured in a continuous stream onto the forehead for about 45 minutes each day, lasting from 7 to 21 days. Dhara is primarily used for insomnia, vata-related disorders, mental tension, and specific skin conditions.

Sirovasthi

Sirovasthi involves pouring warm herbal oils into a specially fitted cap on the head, lasting from 15 to 60 minutes daily for 7 days, depending on the patient's condition. This treatment is highly effective for facial paralysis, dryness of the nostrils, mouth, and throat, severe headaches, and other vata-related issues.
